From time to time it is useful to stop and take your bearings. They say that life is a journey, if so it pays to stop from time to time and reflect on where we are, where we are headed, and is where we are headed a place we want to go to?

I call this mid-course correction. You can do it in life, in a project, in a relationship, and even in a conversation.

Getting things done is not half as satisfying as doing things well. This is because we get personal satisfaction from giving something all our attention, doing it to the best of our abilities, being absorbed in it while we are doing it, and looking back with pride at a job well done.
