When people say that something ‘really gets their my goat’, they mean that they are extremely irritated. It might mean they are annoyed with another person, or a situation. Whatever the cause, the more goats you have the greater the risk that they’ll get got.

If another person keeps getting your goat, remember that In order to get your goat they first must know where it is kept. If you want to stop it happening, move your goat!
