It’s Saturday (where I live it is), so what better time to indulge yourself with an unsolicited gesture of kindness towards someone else.
It truly is an indulgence, in the sense that it brings gratification and satisfaction to the giver. You can even claim a piece of moral superiority (if you are so inclined) because of a generous act you didn’t have to do, but did.
For some people, Random Acts of Kindness, have become a mission. They want to make the world we live in a kinder world. For the rest of us, it’s something we can choose. I particularly recommend it if you are having a bad day.
I don’t wish to offend anyone. If you are already on a mission of kindness I hope that you can have the generosity to extend it to me by making allowance for any assumptions this post seems to imply. I don’t assume that you are not already a very kind person committed to sharing your kindness with others. This post is directed at everyone else.
