Dan Pink has spent the last few years looking at what gets people going. He says that we need a sea change in how we engage and motivate employees.
As we shift from an information-based work culture to a conceptual one, where employers need creativity and big-picture thinking from their people, traditional ‘carrot-and-stick’ methods don’t work, he says.
