Slow, thinking breaks

Have you ever noticed how the more quickly you try to do something the less time you seem to have to do it? By contrast, when you slow down and take your time, it seems that there is more time  to do it.

There’s a lot to be said for doing things slowly from time to time. The very act of slowing down creates an illusion of time passing more slowly, whereas pressure and haste have the opposite effect.
