OK, I’ll say it; Christmas is coming! My self-imposed embargo ended on 30th November and I’m allowed to talk about all things Yule for the next three weeks-and-a-bit.

Not that I will, much. There will be such a media-commercial bombardment that you don’t need me adding to it. I’ll limit myself to just three posts on the subject of seasonal festivities (I think. I’m allowed to break this  vow  in case of high demand or insightful inspiration – it’s call editorial license).

Anyway, maybe more later. In the meantime, here’s my seasonal video (re-edited a bit this year), on How to Survive Christmas, just in case you might need a reminder.

One thing better

Getting things done is not half as satisfying as doing things well. This is because we get personal satisfaction from giving something all our attention, doing it to the best of our abilities, being absorbed in it while we are doing it, and looking back with pride at a job well done.
“Enough time” has nothing to do with it, as you’ll see.
