It’s Guilt, But I Can’t Do It Properly

Healthy guilt is a nuisance, but that’s it’s job, to nag at us to keep us in line.

Unhealthy guilt, on the other hand, is more than a nuisance; it can be pervasive and toxic. You can’t get rid of it by apology, and even if you could, there’s often no-one to apologise to.
