If you are struggling with a problem it is easy to imagine that it is yours alone, but this is not so. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you are not unique in your suffering. The good news is that someone, somewhere, knows how to help. Just ask.
People make such a big deal out of how they feel and when they feel bad they often say and do things that make them feel worse. There's an accompanying belief that there's nothing one can do about it, and standard advice like 'grin and bear it' or 'chin up' are no help (though you get brownie points for being brave). It is far simpler to change from feeling bad to feeling good than most people realise, and a good starting point is doing good.
