Why Can’t I Help Myself When I Hear a Question?
We can become powerless in the face of the questions we are asked. Why is this? What provokes us to unthinkingly accept that a question MUST be answered, then and there, just because it is a question? Well formed questions are a powerful and delightful thing. Badly formed ones are often the last resort of bigots and bamboozlers. Even when its not that serious, we let ourselves down when we use questions carelessly.
