There's a vogue for the quest for happiness, but it's a vague vogue. By that I mean its an abstract, catch-all term that can be confiusing. What's more, thinking about it too much will probably make you un-happier.
We usually don't spot it, but our thinking about what we need is often too vague to give direction to our efforts. Abstract thinking is OK for general purposes, but if you want quality outcomes more detail will be helpful.
