Elder care with a difference!
Magic is important in all cultures and it plays a vital role in wellbeing. This means that we should keep the faith and trust in magic.
I write daily posts on topics that will help you get a better handle on yourself and life in general. However resourceful, successful, fit, fulfilled and well… just OK you are, you have surely known times when your normal talent for getting it right abandoned you. From time to time any of us can find ourselves momentarily in the doldrums, unsure of which way to move next, or simply in need of a chance to step off the treadmill and plan. That’s where this blog comes in.
There's a self-help mantra about focussing and specialising, but it doesn't suit everyone; some of us are more superficial!
I'd just pitched up in my ultra-cool micro car to party with a group of highly animated friends, when a thought occurred to me that not everyone knows how to have Fun, as I do. That I can have a few moments of reflection like this places me a little higher up the moral ladder because it proves I have insight and compassion. When I have a moment in my busy life, I'll do something about it, like go on a paid gig to some exotic place to raise money...

Most people are prepared to put a little time and effort into realising an ambition. But equally, most don't consider their inner world as a safe and sensible starting point. This may be one reason why so many of us struggle with unfulfilled ambitions, diets, and changes in lifestyle or habits.
In so many jobs, it's the not-obvious bits that make a difference. Or as Barry Schwartz says, you don't have to be brilliant, to be wise.
When you do something generous for another person they feel compelled to reciprocate. Not alway, but often.
