sleep test

Good sleep doesn’t just happen – it’s built on habits, routines, and choices that set the stage for rest or restlessness. The Your Sleep Rhythms survey is designed to help you take a clear, honest look at your bedtime habits and how they influence the quality of your sleep.

Iregular patterns around bedtime and sleeping are a threat to good sleep habits. It’s hard for the mind and body to settle into a healthy sleep pattern if there is no routine to when we sleep.

A natural ability

We are all born with the natural ability to sleep well. It is one of the body’s most basic rhythms. So when sleep becomes disturbed or inconsistent, it’s a sign that something is getting in the way of that natural process. It might be stress, lifestyle choices, environmental factors, or patterns of thinking that keep the mind too active when the body is ready to rest. Reviewing your sleep habits is a practical first step to uncovering what’s interfering, so you can get into a healthier, more natural sleep cycle that restores your energy and focus.

Sleep checklist

This short inventory zeroes in on what you do before and during bedtime –  the small, often-overlooked behaviours that can either support or interfere with your body’s natural sleep rhythm. Maybe you stay up scrolling on your phone, drink that “harmless” evening coffee, or push through exhaustion instead of winding down. These habits matter. By pinpointing what’s unhelpful, this sleep test helps you identify where small, practical changes could make a real difference.

Incidentally, Humans are the only mammal that can delay sleep. Dogs, cows and even sheep must go to sleep when their body tells them to. We have the ability to defer sleep (to a limit, of course) and finish doing what’s capturing our attention at the moment. That’s just one explanation for how our sleep rhythms can begin to be disrupted, and why the sleep experts recommend a regular bedtime. It’s hard for the mind and body to settle into a healthy sleep pattern if there is no routine to when we sleep.

You’ll receive a personalised score by email after completing the survey, along with feedback to help you interpret it. That’s your starting point – a snapshot of where you are now and a guide to what you could adjust to sleep better, longer, and more deeply.

There’s no judgment here, just insight. Most of us fall into unhelpful patterns without realising it. This is your opportunity to take stock, and make your nights work for you instead of against you.

Take five minutes to complete Your Sleep Rhythms. Click the button at the end of the survey to get your score and start steering your sleep in a better direction.
