When you have a problem, It can be disappointing when the experts you consult seem unwilling or unable to help. If this three part saga poses more questions than answers, it is not by accident.
I have just finished reading The Psychopath Test, by Jon Ronson. I recommend it. When I checked on Amazon prior to writing this, I was surprised to find that, once again, a book I have enjoyed and want to recommend to others, is available for next to nothing (£2.00 paperback, £0.01 used). Seems the books I value are the ones that nobody else wants. One of the side effects to this is that it feeds self-doubt and paranoid thinking. Maybe I'm not such a good judge of books. Hey ho! ...
Organised learning tends to be directed at the young, we generally think that they are who education is for. Guilt may be a necessary emotion but it quickly becomes redundant when it makes itself a nuisance and won’t take criticism. Any emotion that takes centre stage, assumes adulation and becomes petulant has outlived its usefulness. Above all, it cannot take criticism.
