The skin is the bodies largest organ and touch is as vital to us as oxygen and food. Touch nourishes us in a unique and far-reaching way. We cannot force physical contact on others, and tragically some people even say that they don't like to be touched. We can think about our own needs, and recognise the central importance of touch for wellbeing.

Your Right to Good Health

Good health and wellbeing are things to strive for. In the future, personal and initiative will become increasingly important if we want to stay in good health. However good the services and resources that are available to us, we also have to do our bit to promote our own wellbeing. Nobody else can do it for us.

I’ve Been Working, Honest!

People who fake working hard can actually be as productive as those nose-to-the-grindwheel types. But its an art. The thing is, keeping up appearances at work, as long as you still get the job done, works. It is an effective strategy that allows people to ‘manage’ themselves, and though they might neglect some of their workload appearance can count more than output (so the researchers say).
