Some people spend a lot of time and effort trying to be something that they are not. I don’t mean trying to become something fake or phoney, I mean striving to become someone new, before they have fully appreciated who they already are.
It might be that in so doing they miss something vital and interesting. Before trying to change ourselves, we should first consider valuing what we are already.
It’s often simpler that way and that can lead to recognising the strengths and qualities that make us who we are.

I’m a psychologist, coach, and therapist. All my work is aimed at enabling people to improve personal aspects of their lives and work.
