If you suffer from poor sleep, before looking for complicated explanations and solutions, consider the simple stuff and start with the most obvious and basic. Do you like where you sleep?
The neat categorising and packaging of ideas and information is venerated in many of our world. Manipulative? Sure. And also respected, even sought after, but never adequate to cover all situations. Don't you agree, or perhaps you disagree?
Whatever the problem, someone somewhere has had to deal with it before we do. It's useful to remember this; it provides perspective, and sometimes even, solutions. At the very least, realising that our ancestors went through similar stuff means we can draw on our species' collective wisdom.
