While most of us thrive on a challenge, some are greater than we can handle, or they just keep coming back.
The process of acceptance, when we come to terms with and adapt to change, is called transition. Transition takes time. It too might be gradual or quick, but it is always takes longer than we’d wish.
"Don't fake it 'til you make it, fake it 'til you become it", Amy Cuddy's words, not mine. Body language affects how others see us, and it can also change how we feel. When we don’t feel sure of ourselves standing confidently can affect our hormone levels, which in turn even could affect our chances for success.
I have often heard people mention The Law of Attraction. As I understood it (I thought), it was something to do with Quantum Physics. Having watched this video, I realise that I'm not well informed enough to understand it. But since when do you need to understand how something works for it to be effective?
Whether it is unexpected, sudden, planned, welcome or unwelcome, change can be very de-stabilising. Whatever it is due to, when the circumstances of our lives are altered we need time to adapt. This is often where the difficulties arise because it is a time of uncertainty and uncertainty makes us feel uncomfortable. Although change can be abrupt, we may need time for the psychological adaptation – transition from one part of our lives to the next – to happen. Be patient and go with the flow.
Progress is happening all the time, you just have to look for it. I know that some people react against this, because it challenges their world view and they are uncomfortable with it.
Some things we can never get 'right', and it doesn't matter. It's a fact of life that nobody can be good at everything, and with some things notions of right and wrong are just plain daft.
