Obsessing about the big picture can mean that we often fail to consider obvious solutions.
We function better when we feel that what we do has a purpose, but some ambitions may only be delusions; things we tell ourselves to get us through the day (or the year).

In an earlier post I wrote about finding a 'sacred place'. There have been some questions about what I meant by 'sacred place'. Maybe this will clarify things a bit. Dictionary definitions seem to equate sacred with religious, and so does St. Google. I mean something different.
